recent events We are really proud to announce that having competed against several other agencies in Italy, The Big Event was awarded the contract to organise a series of events in Cortona, Italy for the Hong Kong government (HKETO). These events included concerts, an exhibition based on culture and architecture and a Gala Dinner at the prestigious venue, Relais & Chateaux Il Falconiere and were in collaboration with The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Region of Tuscany and the City of Cortona. With just three weeks lead time and a great collaboration between all parties, we organised a very special series of events that enriched the lives of all present. More than several hundred children between the ages of 11 -18 plus many adults were give the opportunity of hearing young exeptionally talented Chinese musicians play instruments that are not well known to the western world, they saw the incredible " face changing dancer", a lion dancer, tenor, a caligraphist and witnessed the most wonderful slide show exhibition.
